An Authentic Walk With God

Micah 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

Sometimes we come to church, and we act differently. Sometimes this is appropriate. Obviously, when somebody is preaching, we want to be quiet. When we sing, we want to join together. But don*t change your personality. A Christian is perfectly natural and naturally supernatural. God has made us with intention, and we are to bring our whole selves into the church. There*s a time to be still. But the Bible also says shout unto the Lord. There*s a time to cry, but also a time to laugh. There are times when we*re exuberant in our worship and times when we are to be on our face with the Lord. But in all of this, we*re to be natural. Faith is not something that we put on when we come to church. We are to walk with God 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. It is a constant walk.

What are some ways you are tempted to act differently with others in the church? What would it look like for you to walk with God in every moment of life? Ask God to show you the areas of life in which you might be living falsely with Him or with others. Ask Him to help you live authentically in every moment of life.
